1.    If the Jewish law of Tithing is forbidden in 2 Cor 9, why do Sabbatarians practice from "ceremonial law of Moses"?

Answer: The law of tithe is never forbidden. It remains relevant today. And I tell you the truth, if you do not pay tithe, you shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. That is why God commanded in the bible, saying,

6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3:6-12

2.    If the Jewish Sabbath was abolished in Col 2:14-16, yet Sabbatarians keep the Sabbath, which itself is the only ceremonial law of the 10 commandments?

Answer: The Sabbath was never abolished. You should know that Sabbath was in existence before creation. Then, God re-established it on the seventh day after creation.  Again, the Sabbath is the fourth commandment in the original Ten Commandments given to humanity through Moses. Besides, the coming kingdom of God is that of rest – Sabbath.

3.    When Sabbatarians attempt to prove there is a distinction between the moral vs. ceremonial laws, the law of God vs. the Law of Moses, the 10 commandments vs. and the book of the law, and they have shown countless bible passages that destroy any distinction Sabbatarians might dream up, will they at least be honest and admit they need to find some definitive way to create this false distinction that does not exist in the Bible and will try again tomorrow?

Answer: It is enough to do what the lord said in the commandments. Go and keep them all.

4.    Why do you refuse to accept that Col 2:16 contains the Old Testament pattern of referring to the Jewish holy days in a yearly, monthly, weekly sequence as in 1 Chronicles 23:31, 2 Chronicles 31:3, 2 Chronicles 8:13, 2 Chronicles 2:4, Nehemiah 10:33, Ezekiel 45:17, Hosea 2:11, Galatians 4:10?

Answer: Every true Sabbatharian does not reject the Old Testament pattern of referring to the Jewish holy days in a yearly, monthly, weekly sequence. Truly, they call it God’s own calendar or Hebrew calendar and uses the same.

5.    If the plural "sabbaton" in Col 2:16 cannot refer to weekly Sabbath Day, then why does plural "sabbaton" refer to the weekly Sabbath Day in Matthew 28:1, Luke 4:16, Acts 16:13, Exodus 20:8 (in Septuagint) Leviticus 23:37-38 (in Septuagint)?

Answer: Col 2:16 states,16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath Days: Colossians 2:16

If no man should judge you because of Sabbath, then you are right to keep it. For person is taken to court for judgment only when he breaks the law.

6.    If in Col 2:16, the lack of the definite article before the word "Sabbath" in the Greek proves it cannot refer to the weekly Sabbath, then why does the weekly Sabbath lack the definite article in Matthew 28:1, John 5:9, 10, 16?

Answer: The word Sabbath refers to Sabbath in all its entirety, for Sabbath incudes the high day Sabbath and all the festivals of God. For every festival of God is also a Sabbath day, including the feast of Pentecost. This fact is very well written and specified in the Old Testament books. The Sabbath is the greatest feast of God it is the only feast that is within every other festival of God.

Check out the following:

1.    Passover – There was no manual work, except to feast on the holy Pascal ram.

2.    Unleavened Bread –The first day and last day are Sabbath Days.

3.    Wave Sheaf – The time of Wave Sheaf is Sabbath period, because during the time, the people of God are not working. Instead, they are in the presence of God worshipping Him.

4.    Pentecost – The day is a Sabbath Day.

5.    Trumpet – The day is a Sabbath Day.

6.    Atonement – The day is a Sabbath Day.

7.    Tabernacles – The first day and last day are Sabbath Days.

7.    If Isaiah 66:23 proves the Sabbath will be in heaven, will the new moon festival also be there? "from new moon to new moon And from Sabbath to Sabbath".

Answer: The term ‘will be’ refers to the future. Sabbath will not be in heaven, because Sabbath is already there. On earth, you observe New Moon Feast every new moon. That is once in a month. But, in heaven, everything is always new, which implies that new moon is not a day’s affair but always and forever. The observation in heaven is more regular than that obtainable on earth.

8.    If Hebrews 4 teaches that we are to keep the weekly Sabbath, then why does the text say we are to enter a rest that none of the Jews at the time of Joshua in the promised land ever experienced in v8?

Answer: In the same book of Hebrew, the bible states that modern day humanity should keep the Sabbath. More so, as everybody wants to go to heaven, and heaven is a kingdom of rest, a Sabbath kingdom.

For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. Verse 11 says we should not just keep the Sabbath, but also that we should strive to do so.

9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Hebrews 4:8-11

9.     If the Sabbath will endure forever because it is called "eternal" then won't all the Jewish feasts and circumcision also endure because it is also called eternal in Gen 17:10-14 (same Hebrew word used)

Answer: The entire Jewish feasts are heavenly festivals introduced on earth. Therefore, they are spiritual and eternal. Circumcision is a mark for recognition on the body. The same circumcision shall be forever, as the Holy Spirit shall be used to write the laws of God in our hearts.

10.                        If the Sabbath will endure forever because it is called "holy" then won't all the Jewish feasts also endure forever because they are also called holy?

Answer: The entire Jewish feasts are holy and eternal.

11.                       If the Sabbath will endure forever because it was an eternal sign between God and his people, then shouldn't we also still practice circumcision Gen 17:11 and Passover Ex 12:13 because it too is called an eternal sign between God and his people?

Answer: Passover and circumcision are still relevant.

12.                       If it is only through the Sabbath that we can know that it is God who sanctifies us Ex 31:13, then what ever happened to faith in Christ sanctifying us? Any if we should therefore keep the Sabbath, then we must also build the tabernacle, for the Bible says through it we may know it is God who sanctifies us Ezel 37:28?

Answer: Faith alone does not sanctify a man. A man demonstrates his faith by obedience, by doing what he is asked to do. For sanctification, and as part of it, we are required to keep the Sabbath day holy.

13.                       If the fact that the Sabbath is mentioned in the New Testament after Pentecost proves it is still in force, then does the mention of The Day of Pentecost Acts 2:1, The days of unleavened bread Acts 12:3; 20:6, Days of Purification: Acts 21:26, Animal Sacrifices: Acts 21:26, Circumcision: Acts 16:3, Temple worship: Acts 24:12 prove we must keep these too because they are also mentioned and must therefore also still be in force like the Sabbath?

Answer: Yes. For Jesus said, “19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:19

14.                       If Seventh-day Adventists want to deny that their official position is that worshipping on Sunday is the Mark of the Beast, do they realize that the "inspired" Ellen G. White, Uriah Smith, the Advent review and Leo Schreven (who conducts "Revelation seminars" today) all call it the mark of the beast?

Answer: Worshipping on Sunday is the mark of the beast, whether the worship is done by Christians or not.

15.                       Christians can find 21 reasons why the first day of the week is significant to their faith as Christians in the New Testament. Can Sabbatarians find even one reason in the New Testament why the Sabbath has any meaning distinct to Christians?

Answer: All the reasons given by people for not keeping the Sabbath Day are irrelevant excuses. You should know that reasons do not save people from the wrath of God. All the reasons given by Adam and Eve did not save them from being ejected out of the Garden of Eden. In addition, in heaven, argumentative spirit is a sign of faithlessness, disobedience and stubbornness, which are the works of evil spirits. Be warned.

16.                       Did you know that the Jewish Sabbath was significant to the Jews because it was a memorial of this present physical creation and their deliverance from the bondage of Egypt and that the first day of the week is a memorial of our new creation in Christ (2 Cor 5:7) and our deliverance from the bondage of sin. (Gal 4:4-5; Eph 1:7)

Answer: Before creation, Sabbath was in existence. Therefore, Sabbath is not a memorial of creation, but a reminder and restoration of Sabbath, which was in existence before creation. Likewise, the first day is not a memorial of new creation. For in heavens, time does not exist. What humanity call eternity is simply the Eternal Now. Now that is everlasting.

17.                       Did you know that regardless of whether the Sadducee's or Pharisee's method of calculating Pentecost was used the year Christ died, both would calculate Pentecost in Acts 2:1 as the first day of the week. Did you also know that the official position of the Seventh-day Adventist church was that Pentecost in Acts 2:1 fell on a Sunday that year?

Answer: The feats of Pentecost can fall on any day of the week.

18.                       Did you know that 1 Cor 16:2 actually says, "EVERY 1st day" because the same Greek phrase is also found in Acts 13:14 "appointed elders in EVERY church". Did you know that you must give every 1st day of the week in to the church's common treasury?

Answer: This law is a man-made doctrine. God said you should bring your tithes and offerings to the temple. You can do so any day. The only reason many bring their offerings on the day of worship is for convenience, to avoid repetition in travelling long distance and to save time.

19.                       If Jesus died on Wednesday and rose on the Sabbath rather than a Friday - Sunday duration because you demand a full 72 hours in the grave, why is exactly a 72 hour period called 4 days by Peter in Acts 10:3+9+23+24+30?

Answer: This question is irrelevant.

20.                       If the fact that the 10 commandments were written in stone, that proves they will never be abolished, then where was Adam's stone copy of the 10 commandments? Why did God not give Adam a stone copy once for all time? Why is it that Moses was first person in history to not only see the 10 commandments, but the first person to hold the stone tablets upon which the 10 commandments were written? Why do Seventh-day Adventists argue that the ten commandment law is no longer written in stone, but in the flesh of the human heart in 2 Corinthians 3:3? (Of course 2 Cor 3:3 says the 10 commandments were abolished and the new Covenant, the law of Christ is written on human hearts)

Answer: The commandments of God are spiritual laws, which are God’s will in creation. They are universal, impartial and everlasting. The commandments were written on the stone or in a book just to help humanity to recognize and remember the laws of life.

The laws had not been written on the stone on earth by the time the fallen Angels sinned. Yet, the fallen Angels were found guilty by the same laws, because the fallen Angels already had the laws in their hearts, written by the spirit of God.

21.                       If only the 10 commandments we can "live", then why does Ezek 20:11 say this of the "ceremonial law", "I gave them My statutes and informed them of My ordinances, by which, if a man observes them, he will live." (Ezek 20:11)?

Answer: In spirit, ceremonies are endless in heaven. Whether you call the laws ceremonial or not, they are everlasting.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations (ceremonies) into it. Revelation 21:22-26
